A striking, highly scuptural, old-time pyromorphite from this renowned locale. Highly lustrous, translucent, two-toned brown barrels to 1.1 cm comprise to dramatic piece. This solid, two-sided pyromorphite crust looks like a dinosaur with stickle back plates and a knobby head or a dog in the horizonatal view. The bit of scattered bruising has very minimal impact to the quality and importance of this classic old-timer. From the collection of William Jefferis (1820-1906), noted older contemporary of Bement and Roebling (his label dates to the 1870s or early 80s).
