Pyromorphite (old classic)

Dramatic, intergrown sprays of large, lustrous, translucent, stepped-growth, light brown to very light brown, pyromorphite prisms form a sculptural and impressive small cabinet. The crystals reach about 2.2 cm. Scattered bruising is noted, but is certainly acceptable in the context of this very fine and large old-timer from this famous mine, that closed in 1913. Classic Ems pyromorphite. Valued at $4500 and comes with a custom-made lucite base valued at $145, for free.
