Item Description

Wonderful and colorful 'coral reef' of apple-green pyromorphite crystals is artistically perched atop the starkly contrasting, blocky gossan matrix on this aesthetic small cabinet from the major 1997 find at the well-known San Andres Mine of Spain. The striking reef columns reach 1.2 cm tall. A super bonus is the rich cascade of smaller pyromorphites on the back. Ex John Schneider Collection, and he was a well-known pyromorphite specialist with a large suite of fine miniatures acquired in the 1980s-1990s. A beautiful and sculptural specimen from the find. Valued at $750.
