Pyromorphite (new find)

Pistachio green pyromorphite is not so rare in and of itself, but it IS quite rare from Hunan Province. So, this was a new locality when they came out, misidentified as cuprian smithsonite at the beginning (horrifying and high prices were paid for the first samples as examples, wrongly determined, of smithsonite! Specimens like this might have fetched $2000 or more at first - a lesson in identifying what you buy!). The find remains unique to this day, a few years later after they were found in around 2018-19. The multicolored pyro and the style is unique, so it is interesting as a pyro as well as a locality piece. The little white bubbles are presumably mimetite, on top. A fine piece, a beautiful example of this rare find, valued $750-900.
