Sparkly, radial aggegates and crusts of olive-green pyromorphite microcrystals are festooned on a quartz matrix slab on this very impressive and sculptural large specimen from the historic mines at Phoenixville. Primary ore production was from 1847-1854! Additional ore production took place from 1918-1920. The piece was formerly in the Robert Whitmore Collection, noted for his East Coast classics.
