When it comes to Pyromorphite, the finest contemporary green specimens are those from the Daoping Mine in China. The best of these specimens are simply as good as any other Pyromorphites from virtually any world locality. A source in China has told us that the area of the Daoping Mine that produced these pieces is finished and we may never see these superb Pyromorphites again unless a new area is opened up. This small miniature miniature specimen features sharp, well-formed, lustrous, skeletal / "hoppered" crystals of hexagonal prismatic Pyromorphite with a glowing apple green hue, free of matrix. A great three-dimensional display specimen of these now classic specimens. Excellent condition, with VERY little damage. Priced in the inventory at $1,000.
