China has been one of the most productive countries for new material over the last 10 years. The quantity and quality of the finds in China have been remarkable. The finest contemporary green Pyromorphites on the market right now are those from the Daoping mine in China. I was told that the section of the mine that produced these pieces is possibly closed and might not again produce these superb Pyromorphites. This specimen is a beautiful display piece consisting of fine quality, sharp, rather lustrous, beautiful green color, dramatically "hoppered" / skeletal hexagonal crystals. A nice small miniature size piece from this contemporary classic locality. It's so darned aesthetic and wonderfully crystallized. Valued at $400.
