Item Description
Juicy, apple-green, pyromorphite prisms strikingly and richly cover both sides of this nearly solid pyromorphite specimen accented with a thin plate of quartz and a bit of gossan on this excellent specimen from recent finds at the famous Daoping Mine of China. The crystal clusters at one end are stunning from either side. Some of the pyros are very strongly hoppered (to 1.1 cm) and the extremely elongated spindle-shaped crystal is at least 2.3 cm long! A modest bit of contacting is noted, but is certainly a minimal detraction. This fine piece has TOP color and luster and exhibits a wide variety of pyromorphite crystal forms, both classic and elegantly original. Valued at $1250.
