Item Description

Here is a classic New England Pyromorphite. This attractive small cabinet specimen hosts micro Pyromorphite crystals with a strong green color sitting on "cellular" Quartz matrix. This locality was known to have produced lead in 1678 or 1679, and from what I understand, closed in the 1860s, so it's safe to say that specimens from this area have not been available for quite some time. This particular piece comes from the collection of Bob Trimingham, whose label states that it was purchased from David Garske, and originated from the collection of Gunnar Bjareby.
