The Bunker Hill mine is a famous lead-zinc-silver mine that produced some of the finest Pyromorphite specimens from the Western Hemisphere. The mine operated for a century (closing forever in 1988), and fine quality specimens such as this one are difficult to obtain on the market, especially 30 years after it came out of the ground. A beautiful group of semi lustrous, tan-orange hexagonal crystals of Pyromorphite on matrix create this beautiful miniature sized specimen. Great shape all the way around, and the largest crystal measures 6 mm. Classic material from Idaho, you don't see it around anymore, and the best pieces from Bunker Hill are among the best Pyromorphites in the world.
