The Bunker Hill mine is a famous lead-zinc-silver mine that produced some of the finest Pyromorphite specimens from the Western Hemisphere. The mine operated for a century (closing forever in 1988), and fine quality specimens such as this one are difficult to obtain on the market, especially 30 years after it came out of the ground. This piece features beautiful, lustrous, greenish-yellow hexagonal crystals of Pyromorphite on matrix create this beautiful miniature sized specimen. Just beautiful with great isolation between the crystals.
