The Bunker Hill mine is a famous lead-zinc-silver mine that produced some of the finest Pyromorphite specimens from the Western Hemisphere. The mine operated for a century (closing forever in 1988), and fine quality specimens such as this one are difficult to obtain on the market, especially 30 years after it came out of the ground. This piece hosts beautiful, lustrous, prismatic, slighlty "hoppered" golden to yellow hexagonal crystals of Pyromorphite create this beautiful small cabinet sized specimen. The largest Pyromorphite measures 5 mm. Great shape all the way around, as it easily can be displayed from several angles!
