Item Description

A fantastic big showy cabinet display specimen of what are the most valued, desirable and colorful Pyromorphite specimens from any US locality. This sculptural and three-dimensional piece is filled with dozens of high quality, very sharp, incredibly lustrous hexagonal prisms of Pyromorphite which range in color from a bright chartreuse-yellow to an attractive saffron orange hue measuring up to 8 mm. Nearly all of the crystals are completely pristine and undamaged, though there are a few contacted areas to the matrix here and there. The matrix features several "layers" or open cavities which are lined with crystals, some of which look FANTASTIC up close as they are incredibly GEMMY and brilliant. A great full-sized display quality piece of this famous, classic and sought after material that dates back to the early 1980s. Priced in the inventory at $3,500.
