Striking, radial sprays of lustrous, pretty grass-green, pyromorphite prisms very attractively and richly cover two faces on the mounded matrix on this excellent specimen famous Les Farges Mine. Scattered broken crystals are noted, but have minimal visual impact on this colorful, sculptural and densely covered piece. Classic material from this famous mine, that closed in 1981. The December, 2009 issue of the French periodical, Le Regne Mineral, is devoted entirely to this noted locale and is filled with photgraphs of fabulous Les Farges pyromorphites. Valued $750-1000.
