Pyromorphite (classic locale)

Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, rich apple-green tapered pyromorphite spindles, to about 1.0 cm, with hoppered terminations fill a sculptural small cabinet vug in this hefty for the size solid pyromorphite specimen. This is among the richest and lushest green hue you will see from the myriad of varietals from the famous Daoping Mine and the tapered prism style is rare. The iron oxide coatings add contrast and color. A fine, colorful and rare style of pyromorphite from the famed early 2000s finds at Daoping. The interior is pristine. A modest bit of acceptable bruising is noted on the periphery, but this remains an excellent example of this style and rich color. They ARE still quite unique amongst the other styles.
