Item Description

A striking, highly sculptural dense tapered cluster of parallel-growth pyromorphite prisms from the famous Les Farges Mine. The lustrous dark goldenrod prisms have the desirable mustard-yellow terminations. Even the back looks good on this excellent piece. Les Farges is famed for pyromorphite forms and colors and this is an excellent example. The bit of bruising to center of the display view and the two broken crystals at the top of the out-of-sight back are noted, but have very minimal impact to the high quality of this piece. Valued at $500-700.
