Item Description

Juicy, highly desirable, apple-green, pyromorphite spindles are festooned on the very sculptural, starkly contrasting gossan matrix on this excellent and aesthetic small cabinet from the famous Les Farges Mine. The prominent large doubly terminated spindle is 1.2 cm and some crystals have slightly darker mid-sections. The mine closed in 1981 and many collectors consider it to be among the most "elite" of the historic localities. The crystal covered "foot" or "arm" really adds character to this piece, which has multiple fine display possibilities. Classic Les Farges material with great color, seldom seen on the market! ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection
