Item Description
Lustrous grass-green hexagonal pyromorphite prisms with hoppered terminations totally cover the hefty sculptural undulating small cabinet from the early 2000s finds at the famous Daoping Mine. The crystals reach 9 mm and the interior vug adds much character to the piece. Some of the crystals are tapered spindles. Pristine. A world-class pyromorphite locale, Daoping is famed for diversity of colors, crystal habits and forms and this is an excellent and very rich example of this varietal. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum.
