A beautifully elegant 360-degree pyromorphite miniature with rare sharply tapered spindles from the early 2000s finds at the famous Daoping Mine. Juicy, translucent, pretty light apple-green prisms, to about 1.5 cm, compose this very artistic piece. Every turn presents distinctively different aspect to this entrancing specimen. A world-class pyromorphite locale, Daoping is famed for diversity of colors, crystal habits and forms and this is an outstanding miniature example of this varietal. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A few gently bruised crystals on one side of the top are mostly out-of-sight. Ex Bill Pinch Collection. Bill was a renowned collector, mineral reseacher, author and dealer who assembled several world-class collections. He passed away in 2017.
