Pyromorphite (beautiful material)

Item Description

These specimens came out in the late 2000s, and feature a color and style that is reminiscent of other localities, but still distinct on its own. The crystals have formed in almost spherical clusters, similar to the old English Campylites, but they have a beautiful yellow-green hue, that reminds one of the crystals from Bunker Hill, Idaho. This piece features a coverage of attractive, somewhat resinous, yellow-green colored, globular Pyromorphite crystal groups measuring up to 1.0 cm, sitting on minor matrix. The majority of the Pyromorphites are in good condition, but there are a few spots of damage here and there, so the piece is not pristine. A very attractive and certainly uncommon specimen that would make a great addition to any secondary ore mineral collection, and suite of Pyromorphites or European/French minerals.
