Item Description
When it comes to good crystallized Pyromorphite specimens, there hasn't been anything as good as the pieces coming out of the Daoping Mine in the last 20+ years. I was told that the section of the mine that produced these pieces is now closed and will never again produce these superb Pyromorphites. This specimen consists of sharp, lustrous, attractive green color, hoppered crystals that measure up to 1.6 cm with no matrix. A good overall specimen of this material. Top pieces with superior color are valuable on the market now. This piece does have a bit of roughness in areas, but still good for what it is. It comes with a previous dealer's label that had it priced at $750.
