Gorgeous, juicy radiating sprays of variably-sized apple-green hexagonal pyromorphite prisms cover this dramatically sculptural and aesthetic miniature from the famous Daoping Mine. The larger crystals reach about 1.0 cm and some have hoppered terminations, adding pizzazz. The matrix itself is interesting, being segmented brecciated platy quartz. This extreme cutie was valued by the former dealer at $500, when these first came to the US market in the early 2000s. It is worth more today. An outstanding example of this varietal from the renowned Daoping Mine.
