Two generations of beautiful, juicy apple-green pyromorphite crystals form this very rich and sculptural plate from recent finds at this famous pyromorphite locale. The elongate tapered prisms, to about 1.3 cm, are richly overgrown with sprays of a second generation of tiny acicular crystals. Essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of periphery wear, which is certainly acceptable in context of this rich piece. This noted mine has produced a striking multitude of pyromorphite crystal styles and colors and this is a exceptional, rich and uncommon example of this style. Valued at $1000-1250.
