Lustrous, "wet-look", apple-green prisms in stellate, radiating clusters or in more plumose form and clusters richly and aesthetically cover the gossan matrix on this showy specimen from recent finds at the now-famous Daoping Mine of China. The variations in green colors, crystal forms and crystal size make this a world-class pyromorphite locality. These have become contemporary classics.
