China has been one of the most productive countries for new material over the last 15 years. The quantity and quality of the finds in China have been remarkable. The finest contemporary green Pyromorphites on the market right now are those from the Daoping mine in China. I was told that the section of the mine that produced these pieces is now closed and will never again produce these superb Pyromorphites. This specimen consists of sharp, lustrous, attractive apple green color, hoppered crystals that measure up to 1.0 cm on matrix. A good overall specimen of this material. Top pieces with this color are valuable on the market now. There are a few rough spots on the front, but still a good overall piece. Priced at $1700.
