Pyromorphite

Many styles of pyromorphite came from this locality when it produced highly, mostly between 2000-2006. This particular style is not one I can trace to a year or pocket, but it is a look that I always found very attractive. The crystals are slightly deformed, with the prominent crystal in the center being curved. They have a super lustrous, wet look, and light apple-green color. Crystals of pyrmorphite to 1.3 cm in length grow out of this solid crust of pyromorphite. Most of the crystals exhibit hoppered growth. Super color and luster on this showy, two-sided piece!
