Item Description

A classic, colorful and sculptural 2-generation matrix pyromorphite small cabinet from the well-known 1990s finds at this world-class pyromorphite mine. Striking, lustrous, translucent first generation rich burnt-orange bladed spherical aggregates of arsenian pyromorphite cover the blocky contrasting crust, visible on the lower half of the specimen. Beautiful, lustrous, gemmy to translucent, honey-yellow textbook hexagonal prisms, to about 1.4 cm, richly and dramatically cover the upper half and top of the specimen. A bit of bruising at the top of the piece is barely visible and has negligible impact to the overall fine aesthetics, richness and quality of the specimen. An excellent and colorful multi-generational Bunker Hill pyromorphite. Valued at $11500-2000. Ex Nowakowski collection
