Item Description

Two generations of pyromorphite comprise this very sculptural and fine four-sided rib from the 1990s finds at the renowned Bunker Hill Mine. The piece is entirely composed of first generation intergrown spherical aggregates of juicy orange, arsenian pyromorphite crystals. These are visible at the base of the front. Very nifty sprays of elongated, gemmy, honey-yellow prisms cover the top of the front and nearly the entire back and sides of the piece. The contrasting crystal forms and colors make for classic and very fine example example of this combination style. Essentially pristine, you can barely tell that there are a few bruised crystals. Valued at $1250-1500 for style, quality and aesthetics.
