Juicy, pretty yellow-green, hexagonal pyromorphite barrels, to 5 mm, richly and attractively fill a sculptural 5.5 cm vug in sturdy matrix on this showy and excellent small cabinet from the well-known 1997 find at the San Andres Mine. These are the finest European pyromorphites recovered in many years and this is a highly representative example from the Orellana Collection and has two fine display views. These only come from recycled collections.
