Item Description

Juicy apple-green pyromorphite barrels fill a 5.0 cm narrow vug on the limonite matrix plate. The prisms reach 6 mm on this sculptural specimen from this ancient lead and zinc mine. A major pyromorphite discovery was made here in 1996. Colorful, showy and highly representative pyromorphite from the A. Eckelkamp and John Marshall Collections. John was a noted pyromorphite specialist, who passed away in 2008.
