Item Description
This very 3-dimensional specimen of pyromorphite is a rolling matrix with crystals to just over 1 cm, popping out dramatically and splaying slightly to the sides to create multifacted sparkle on the display face as you look at all the angles from the sides. It is nearly pristine, with just a very few minor points broken off near the base and at the periphery, out of perhaps 100 crystals - and all majors are intact, anyhow. Unusually for this habit, the tips have excellent, glassy luster, AND the stalks as well have luster. The piece is a fine small cab, in a price range that should command $2500-4500 fairly. It was mined in the mid-1980s heyday here as opposed to "round 2" in the mid-1990s, as one can tell by the intense yellow color, sparkling luster, and slight orange pyromorphite underlayer.
