One of the most choice, "cute" style of pyro finds from the mine, these hedgehog-like clusters came out in the early 2000s. Striking, desirable hoppered terminations on these unusually tapered spindles of translucent apple-green pyromorphite prisms from the early 2000s finds at the famed Daoping Mine. The prisms reach 1.3 cm on this very rich, 360-degree, mounded hedgehog. Nearly pristine, with only one broken crystal noted in the interior, which is out-of-sight in the primary display view. Daoping is one of the world's great pyromorphite localities and this is an excellent example of this sought-after varietal with 360-degree presence. Ex Dr. Steve Smale Collection.
