Mineral specimens are RARE from this less well-known major gold-polymetallic mine in Para State. Pyrolusite specimens are VERY RARE. Polianite is a very uncommon morphological variety of pyrolusite. A vug full of shiny blades is well-placed in the massive manganese oxide matrix. Rich ore, and a rare black treasure, that normally would never make it to market. Ex Matioli Collection.
