Item Description
A classic example of the rare Pyrolusite / Ramsdellite specimens from the Mistake Mine in the area of Wickenburg / Yarnell, Arizona. The piece features attractive, silvery-black almost acicular crystal "sprays" on oxidized matrix. According to the entry on mindat.org, the validity of Pyrolusite from this locality is in question, so the piece might only be Ramsdellite. This is one of the finer and richer examples we've had to offer from this mine, and if you collect Arizona minerals, or manganese minerals, don't miss out on this one.
