Item Description
We are all familiar with manganite from Ilfeld, but I have only rarely seen anything else from these mines of quality, especially good crystallized pyrolusite crystals such as this. Often, you see them as pseudomorph replacements of the manganite, but these are beautiful primary crystals in a nice pocket. With sharp, robust crystals to about 1 cm, this is a world class example of the species. Obtained in a small colletion of rare classics in germany, and valued $1000
