Item Description
A nice representative example of the manganese oxide, Pyrolusite from near Las Cruces, New Mexico. This miniature sized piece is essentially a solid group of Pyrolusite, which hosts attractive, semi-lustrous, metallic, dark grey-black colored prismatic crystals, showing a bit of chatoyancy when rotated in the light. The crystals measure to about 9 mm. A good specimen of this uncommon material.
