Item Description
A good quality classic piece of the manganese oxide, Pyrolusite found near Las Cruces, New Mexico. This small cabinet sized piece hosts attractive brilliant, metallic, dark grey-black colored prismatic crystal groups, showing a bit of chatoyancy when rotated in the light, sitting on a thin layer of matrix. The crystals measure to about 8 mm long. A showy display specimen of this uncommon material.
