Item Description

Outstanding pocket of Polianite crystals from what was once called the Black Widow Mine. Polianite is the variety of Pyrolusite that is pseudomorphed after Manganite. This rich pocket is completely lined with 2-3 mm crystals that are sharp, superbly lustrous, and striated. Between the comb-like terminations and the striations, these look like like highly-polished, metallic wheatsheaves. An excellent and aesthetic miniature.
