Item Description

Pyrochlore Group oxides contain niobium and are found in unusual igneous terrains and granitic pegmatites. Pyrochlore specimens are extremely rare from any British Columbia locality. This cute and textbook octahedral thumbnail crystal has high luster and mottled gray to yellow-green color. Essentially pristine. Older and most excellent material from a very obscure locale.
