A beautifully symmetrical, highly arching, lustrous pyritized spirifer brachiopod from the Devonian of Sylvania, Ohio. This specimen has excellent bi-lateral symmetry and comes from a quarry west of Toledo. This very fine example is essentially pristine. An excellent and highly representative fossil of the species and locale. This is one of the very best of these we have offered at auction and it even has a smaller brachiopod perched on one side edge.
