Item Description

It is not easy to find good cabinet display specimens of crystallized Pyrite on matrix from Tasna. This piece features sharp, lustrous, metallic, golden trapezohedra modified by octahedra of Pyrite measuring up to 1.6 cm. Assoicated greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite and minor white/colorless Augelite can be seen on the piece as well. This specimen is from the find about 15 years ago (2002), when some of the most impressive Augelites came out of Tasna. This is definitely one of the best matrix display specimens of Pyrite I've seen from Tasna.
