Item Description

A really nifty and showy pyrite thumbnail from an UNCOMMON Colombian locality - Zipaquira, Cundinamarca and the Dick Jones Collection. A very aesthetic, complete all-around and very nearly pristine cluster of highly lustrous, striated, brass-yellow, tabular, pyrite crystals comprise this piece. This is the first pyrite I have seen from this locale and in my estimation, rivals pyrite from the famed Huanzala Mine of Peru. Its that good. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
