Item Description

This thumbnail pyrite crystal has very strange form. It is a sharp, moderately lustrous, brassy, modified octahedron with cubic corners. The crystal faces have a striking multitude of opposing stepped-growth faces. These are very hard to get from this less well-known limestone quarry and this is a good one. Complete all-around and pristine. The attachment is at the base. Valued by the former dealer at $250.
