Item Description

Sharp, mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyritohedrons, with fabulous striated faces, are dramatically intergrown to form a striking and very aesthetic small cabinet from this world-renowned pyrite locality. The beautifully placed large crystal is 2.0 cm. For all the tonnage of pyrite that Huanzala has produced, this is an exceptional small cabinet. It is not diminished by the trivial bit of periphery wear. Ex Tony Potucek Collection of Arizona. Tony is noted for the high quality of his specimens and the film label indicates that Tony had the piece on display at one time. The piece has collected in 2003, according to his label.
