During his years in Poland, collector Dave Stoudt sought out and obtained an array of Polish specimens little seen on the market here in the United States or elsewhere. This incredible and sculptural large piece consists of two isolated stalactites of pyrite with a radial internal pattern. Sharp, matte-finish, cuboctahedral galena crystals are aesthetically attached. Sparkly drusy quartz preferentially coats the stalactites. The tips where contacted against the vug ceiling and you can see the hollow tube on the smaller stalactite, where the precipitating fluids flowed. Amazing and rare 360-degree combination material.
