Item Description
A striking and most excellent, uncommon, 360-degree, pyrite stalactite from the famous mines at Huaron. The faces on the highly modified pyritohedrons are preferentially and most distinctively different. Triangular faces are mirror-bright, while the pyritohedral faces have a satin finish. Weird, but very interesting chemistry here! Every turn presents a different view. Pristine, except for the minor periphery wear at the base. Pyritohedrons are very uncommon from Huaron, as most are cubes. Pieces of this quality came out in the mid-1980s. Value??
