This superb Huanazla pyrite combination was very difficult to photograph, due to the numerous smooth faces of the mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyritohedrons. Most Huanzala pyrites have striated faces. The architecture of this pristine, sculptural 360-degree plate is outstanding. The intergrown pyrites reach 1.8 cm and the clusters of black sphalerite crystals and small very sharp matte-gray galena cuboctahedrons are super accessories.
