Splendent, brassy, well-striated, sharp pyritohedrons, to 1.2 cm, cover all sides of this impressive and rich specimen from this famous large open pit Utah Cu-Au-Mo(-Ag-Pb) mine. This is an exceptionally rich and large specimen, as Bingham Canyon is not well-known as a fine specimen producer. Probably older material. Valued at $650 by the former dealer.
