Item Description
The sharp, lustrous, metallic, pyrite crystals on this fine specimen exhibit the rare diploid crystal form (having 24 or more crystal faces). The Duff Quarry is world famous for the variety of complex pyrite crystal forms and this is an excellent and rich example. The crystals look like metallic "eggs" in the limestone "nest".
