Item Description

An aesthetic and classic pyrite and quartz combination from the famous and dangerous Spruce Claim. A 2.3 x 2.0 x 1.9 cm modified pyrite cube with bright brassy luster and striated faces is jauntily set amidst an impressive upright cluster of glassy, lightly frosted transparent quartz crystals. The pyrite is very nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. The interior quartz crystals are pristine on this striking 360-degree piece and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this desirable combination from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Collected in 1978.
